ALLIANCES
The O.S.R.K.F. is a fully autonomous federation.
We are independent of all other martial arts organizations, including those in Japan and Okinawa.
Although we are self-governing, we have selectively established informal relationships, with Federations in Japan, and elsewhere. All of us, being descendants of Master Haruka Nakama (deceased).
We strive to further our common interests, to the benefit of all.
The O.S.R.K.F. is dedicated to the propagation of true Shorin Ryu Karate, and we welcome a kinship with all other organizations that share our goals and beliefs.
YOKOSUKA SHORIN KAI
The Yokosuka Shorin Kai (YSK), is a Japanese federation, devoted to the preservation and teaching of the principles of Master Haruka Nakama.
The O.S.R.K.F. has a strong familial relationship with the Yokosuka Shorin Kai.
Like us, they are faithful, and powerful advocates of Shorin Ryu Karate.
The YSK’s ambassador to the O.S.R.K.F. is Akimasu Hara Sensei.
Through his participation at our special events, and frequent communications, we have developed a reciprocal admiration.
We sincerely appreciate his support and unwavering friendship.
